Nike Alphafly 3: The Ultimate Expression of Marathon Speed

The Nike Alphafly 3 competition shoes have been perfected to take marathon speed beyond the imaginable. They incorporate three innovative technologies to enhance your run: two Air Zoom units that propel you forward; a full-length carbon fiber plate that propels you with ease; and a ZoomX foam midsole from heel to toe that keeps you fresh throughout your run.

The Alphafly 3 is the lightest model in the series to date (weighing approximately 174 g for a women's size 39 and with an 8 mm drop). It offers unparalleled energy return, with Air Zoom units and ZoomX foam working together to store and return power with every stride. The carbon plate is now slightly wider for greater stability, and the ZoomX midsole is fully connected for smoother transitions. In addition, the Atomknit upper is completely new, designed to improve multidirectional support and breathability.

The shoe ensures an optimal fit for running: it features grooved laces that offer a smooth and secure lacing system, and an integrated woven tongue with elevated padding to relieve pressure from the laces on the instep. The propulsive feel of the carbon plate facilitates a smooth transition with every stride, allowing you to tackle turns with confidence and enjoy a cushioned, comfortable ride from the first kilometer to the last.
