G-SHOCK is a prestigious Japanese brand known for the durability of its watches. It was born from the idea of "creating an unbreakable watch". The design teams created a watch with 10 metres of free-fall resistance, 10 bar water resistance and a battery life of 10 years. G-SHOCK turned the original watch concept on its head, transforming the idea of fragility into resistance. The first design came out in 1983 with the DW-5000 model and today it is considered one of the strongest brands of watches.
